Home of the 2021 Little League World Series Participants

PLAYER CHECKLIST

CHECKLIST:

Due to Covid-19 the league will not be providing shared equipment. All players must bring their own.

(Highlighted Items are optional for T-ball only) 

  • Glove
  • Pants or Practice Pants (Grey)
  • Cleats
  • Bat
  • Batting Gloves ( if using them)
  • Helmet
  • Water Bottle
  • Socks (color TBD)
  • Belt (color TBD)
  • Athletic Cup 
  • Sanitizer
  • Camp chair ( so the player can put their equipment next to it)
  • Mask ( for non baseball activities when unable to social distance)

DIVISION INFO

NMHLL DIVISIONS

     Intermediate

  • Ages 11-13
  • Played on a 50/70 field
  • Competitive play that focuses on advanced fundamentals and the transition for players between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths).
  • Regular season players in the Little League Intermediate 50/70 Baseball Division have the opportunity to dual roster, meaning he/she can play in the Little League Major Baseball Division during the same season (so long as they meet the age requirements for both). Achieving tournament eligibility is possible in either division, but a player must choose one division of play to participate in during the tournament season.
  • Rosters of up to 13 per team
  • Practice or games will not be more than 2 to 3 hours per day, two or three games a week.
  • Players will play a 7 inning baseball game with strict adherence to little league rules.
  • Pitch counts will be strictly enforced. 

   Majors

  • Ages 10-12
  • Prepares players for competitive play at the 50/70 division and beyond. 
  • Competitive play that focuses on advanced fundamentals.
  • Rosters of up to 13 per team
  • Practice or games will not be more than 2 to 3 hours per day, two or three games per week.
  • Players will play a 6 inning baseball game with strict adherence to little league rules.
  • Pitch counts will be strictly enforced.

     

    Minors

  • Ages 8-10
  • Prepares players for competitive play at the Majors division. 
  • Instructional baseball division that teaches more advanced fundamentals, features competitive play.
  • Practice or games will not be more than 2 -1/2 hours per day, two or three games per week.
  • Players will play a 6 inning baseball game per little league rules.
  • Kid pitch division, pitch counts will be strictly enforced.

     

    Farm/Instructional

  • Ages 6-8
  • Instructional baseball division that concentrates on fundamentals.
  • Coach pitch division with modified baseball rules, limited roster sizes; 7-9 players per team.
  • Practice or games will not be more than 2 hours per day, two games per week.
  • Coach pitch division.
  • Players will be introduced to outs.
  • Clinic night one night per week throughout the season.
  • Two games per week, one weekday & every Saturday morning throughout the season.

     

    T-ball

  • Ages 3-5
  • Focuses on Fun, Fitness, Fundamentals, and Sportsmanship.
  • Limited roster sizes; 5-6 players per team
  • Practice or games will not be more than 1 hour per session.
  • Clinic night one night per week throughout the season.
  • Games will be played on Saturday mornings throughout the season
  • Baseball pants and rubber cleats recommended but not required
  • You do not need to be within our district to register for T-ball as of 2021
Challenger Division

The Little League Challenger Division® was founded in 1989, and is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.
  • Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they should do so.
  • The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4 to 18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school. The Senior League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 15 and above (no maximum age).

Season starts in early April and ends in mid-June.

Games and practices will be played on both Hooksett & North Manchester fields

Players are required to have a baseball glove, helmet and bat. The league provides baseballs.  Players are allowed to bring and use their own equipment.

Note:  Players will be evaluated before the season starts to ensure they are in the right division based on talent.

Player agent has ultimate decision on player placement.
